Self-publishing is now a viable, respectable way to find an audience for your book. We want to help you reach that audience by recognizing above all that quality is important. Too many people are hitting the print button without knowing what goes into creating an enduring work of art.

Most self-publishing webinars are created by those who have never published with an established press. We have experience with both self-publishing and traditional publishing, and so can guide you by giving you the right information from both sides of that fence.

We’ll give you insider tips on finding and working with the right editor, copy-editor, cover and book designer once the first draft of your book is finished. We’ll explain what industry professionals already know: how the right editor can improve your writing immeasurably, and why the right copy-editor is vital to success.

With a comprehensive webinar on what goes into producing a quality book after it has been written, our decades of combined writing and publishing experience can help you raise the bar on your self-publishing project. We’ll save you hours, if not weeks, of research, and give you information about publishing that can be found nowhere else on the web.

Join us for Choosing your Self-Publishing Team and give your book a head start. Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to return to this page to make your registration payment below.

Webinar: Crowdfunding for Independent Authors

Sunday, July 29, 1-2 PM Eastern Time

Cost: $25.00 USD

Crowdfunding is a new twist on the very old technique of selling “subscriptions” to a work before it is published. We now use the word subscribe to refer to signing up for a periodical or magazine, but in fact it merely means to underwrite, or to support. So, to crowdfund is to seek support.

There are lots of people willing to give you the support you need to publish your own work professionally. So how will you find them? That’s one of the things we’ll discuss in this webinar. We’ll also discuss using the most popular crowdfunding platforms, how to publicize your campaign, how much money you should seek, and what you can offer in exchange.

Both William Kowalski and Darren Greer have conducted successful crowdfunding campaigns to fund the professional independent publication of their own books. They’re going to share their experience with you so that you can do the same!

Join us for Crowdfunding for Independent Authors and learn how to create a professional-looking book without spending any of your own money. Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to return to this page to make your registration payment below.
